Stock your kitchen with authentic Nepali and South Asian lentils, beans, and dry legumes from Nepsto. We ship 60+ varieties across Denmark and the EU – from red split masoor and urid dal to chana, moong, toor, chickpeas, kidney beans and black-eyed peas.

The foundation of dal bhat

Lentils are the daily protein of every Nepali home. Masoor (red split) cooks in 15 minutes for a quick dal. Urid dal is the soul of kalo dal and dosa batter. Mung dal washed makes a light, easy-to-digest yellow dal. Chana dal shines in chana masala and gundruk-chana soup. Pair them with our spices and basmati rice for a complete meal.

Brands and pack sizes

We source from TRS, Heera, AliBaba, Kalra, Dobate and Nepal Foods. Available in 500g, 900g, 1kg and economical 2kg packs. All packaging is sealed and clearly labeled with origin and allergens.

Frequently asked questions

Masoor vs. moong vs. urid – what's the difference? Masoor is the fastest cooking (red split). Moong is the mildest and easiest to digest. Urid is hearty and used for black dal and South Indian batters.

Do dry beans need soaking? Whole chickpeas and kidney beans need 8–12 hours of soaking; split lentils (masoor, mung, toor) do not.

Do you ship lentils across the EU? Yes – we ship to 25+ EU countries from Denmark, 1–14 working days.
